The Canadian Brewing Awards (CBAs) invites brewers of all sizes throughout the country to compete in the only truly nationally sanctioned competition of its kind in Canada. The awards also recognize a Canadian Brewery of the Year, Beer of the Year and Educator of the Year.
Maintaining its strong momentum year-over-year, nearly 1,000 beer entries were received for 2014 across 38 categories. Participation in the CBAs has grown 225% since 2009.
The Canadian Brewing Awards is constantly evaluating the addition of new and more specialized beer styles to remain current with beer industry trends and consumer demand. Beer judging is planned for April 2015 by more than forty BJCP-certified judges.
Entering its third year as a full two-day conference with awards gala, the Niagara Falls event promises to uphold and improve upon the ongoing success of the CBAs with relevant and influential speakers, engaging events, educational seminars, and an expanded Trade Floor showcasing the industry’s best products and services.
